adobe shockwave player 11.5 downloadI cant watch youtube videos or do anything online that has to do with adobe flash player...why?

when i want to watch a youtube video, it says that my java is turned off and that i need to download adobe flash player, the thing is i have both of those! i have adobe shockwave player 11 that, i think, came with adobe flash payer. i have java version 6, with updates 5 and 7, and Java SE Runtime Environment 6. what should i do so i can watch those youtube videos? and if my java is off, how do i turn it on? and when im using my firefox browser, and i go to sites that use adobe flash player, i cant view any material because it says i dont have the flash player, but i obviously do!! what should i do? any help would really be appriciated!!

and is it okay if i delete java update 5? and keep 7? and what is Java SE Runtime Environment 6 and adobe flash player activeX? and is adobe reader 9 really neadobe shockwave player 11.5 downloadeded?

Just uninstall all java stuff and download the newest. Uninstall slow adobe reader and if you need a pdf reader use Foxit reader. It is 100 x smaller and more functions than adobe (also free) Also uninstall firefox and install the newest verstion, (make sure to uninstall your current version first). If that. there are two types of flash player..one is exclusively for IE user and the other one is for other internet browsers(firefox, etc.).make sure you have downloaded the right software(flash)..With your problem with java script..you just have to install the latest javascript online...to do this you may go to

hmm interesting...try unistalling everything and reinstall everthing again. Not sure what is wrong but it seems you have everything.
The same problem happend 2 me 2:)

my friend helped me.. u go to task manager and then go to processes.. then shutdown anything like yahoo messenger ot anything that doesn't have to do with windows..
then go to adobe.com and download the flash player... after uninstalling the old one.
if this doesn't work then open internet explorer... click tools and go to internet options..after seeing the full list click on the advanced tab, and scroll all the way down to java or multimedia and check the ones u want on...
