I recently downloaded Portable Firefox to my 4gb Cruzer flashdrive. There was like 2 or 3gb unused before I downloaded it, but I deleted it (or so I thought), and there is now less than 1gb left!!! How do I properly remove it?
if uninstalling doesn't resolve this, try to reformat the flash drive and it will erase all the datas it got. but when you do this, be sure to copy first the important files that youportable firefox flash don't want to be deleted.
to format the flash disk, go to my computer then right click your flash disk icon name(usually it's "removable disk ___") then click format. then it will open the formatting window. and just fill up the desired name of your drive then click format(not quick format) then it will prompt you that if you continue, it will erase all the data in the drive. just click oportable firefox flashk or yes then wait till formatting is done. i hope this helps. please rate
Uninstall Portable Applications from the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs
Portable Applications are NON EMBEDDED software which means you need to only delete the program itself physically from your Flashdrive. No official Uninstall is required to prevent any adverse effects.
Format the drive!
